St. Patrick's Day Parade, Bay City, Michigan

The 58th Bay City St. Patrick's Day Parade
will be March 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

The parade starts at Center and Park Avenues and disbands at Center and Water Streets. Marching bands, pipe bands, and
floats will march down the street led by the
2012 Parade Marshal, Denny Hayes.

This is an opportunity for family and friends
to get together and enjoy a day together.

2012 Events
St. Patrick’s Day Queen’s Tea and Informational Meeting for Queen/Princess Contestants: Thursday, January 26, 2012; 7:00 PM.
Irish Lassies interested in participating in the St. Patrick’s Day Queen and Princess Contest are invited to attend our tea and get more information about entering the contest.

St. Patrick's Day Queen/Princess Contest: Saturday, March 3, 2012; 3:00 PM.
Irish lassies compete for scholarship money and the title of Queen and Court judged on a written essay, oral presentation and poise. All contestants will be required to write an essay on their Irish Heritage and present it in front of a panel of judges.
Age Groups: 12-15 and 16-20.
Location: Zion Lutheran School Gymnasium, 1707 S. Kiesel Street, Bay City MI 48706

Mass: Saturday March 17, 2012; 4:00 PM
Please join our Parade Marshal, Denny Hayes, our 2012 Queens Court and association members at a Mass honoring St. Patrick.
Location: St. Joseph Church, 1005 3rd St., Bay City, MI

George Walsh Irish Ball: Saturday, March 17, 2012; 6:00 – 12:00 PM
Come and enjoy a great, relaxing evening with friends that includes dinner and dancing at a fundraiser with proceeds going to the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Cocktails are at 6 p.m. and dinner is at 6:45 p.m. DJ and dancing is from 8:30 p.m. until midnight. Tickets are $30.00 per person and can be purchased by calling Leslie Walsh at (989) 891-9709
